Some stakeholders, through a letter issued from the legal representative and/or tenured scientist, have already expressed their interest in SILCO project considering that:
"The innovative concept of SILCO stands on the enhancement of the methodology to synthesize Waste-derived Sorbent Matrixes (WSMs) from waste to allow efficient waste management and reintroduction in the economy of end-of-waste materials giving them new life and value. The overall objective is to improve the strategy of CO2 recovery and reuse procedure in a way that will allow economic benefits without affecting the environment and even positively impacting it. The applicative outputs of SILCO project regard: 1) the application of new WSMs in current technologies, such materials are not currently available on the market, and 2) the possibility of implementing new technologies, dealing with recycling processes, in the synthesis of the WSMs which are not still applied at industrial level."
